[BEAUTY CORNER] OMIA LABORATOIRES SHAMPOO #PART 2

17:25 0 Comments A+ a-

During my shopping session, when I wander in parfume shop I'm always looking for vegan products, to my great delight I'm noticing that the cosmetics and products not tested on animals are still rising,  peering through the shelves I finally saw the full line of products Omia laboratories.

I had already mentioned in a previous post of the shampoo and mask with aloe vera, which I had bought long ago, I found myself so well that I decided to try the shampoo and mask with linseed.

Flax seeds have beneficial effects for the hair, especially for those who have brittle or stressed hair, thanks to the emollient and nourishing properties, donate softness and bright.

During this period the hair is affected by stress especially with the sea, the sun, the heat, and if we add the fact that those who have long hair, in the summer, tends to keep them linked, here you are the perfect cocktail for stressed hair is done!

This shampoo has passed the first test, it's different from what I had previously tried, especially the mask is more compact; the result is satisfactory, they are very soft to touch, full-bodied and outshine, it tends a little to weigh down the hair, so if you have greasy hair is best avoided.

The inci of the products is very good and the ingredients are all natural and organic and the price is very affordable!

I'll alternate them certainly with the shampoo and the mask with aloe of the same line!

The weekend passed quickly and we always find ourselves beginning a new week, someone pouting, someone smiling, someone with his head still stuck into the weekend just finished.

I spent the weekend wandering around the shops, intrigued by the summer sales just started, I must admit I was a little disappointed by these sales, I have seen a very few nice things and too much confusion.

I stopped to buy something, especially accessories, obviously during this weekend I wasn't just shopping, I have been experimenting with new recipes, new vegan products, that of course I'll post in the coming days; in the meantime I leave you some pictures of my weekend and I wish you a good week!

VEGAN COUSCOUS "CHEESECAKE"

20:12 0 Comments A+ a-

Buon dessert a tutti!

In the previous post I talked about the event that took place in Ferrara starring the "couscous", of course after I bought a pack I started to work to create something good.

As soon as you say couscous you immediately think of a savory dish with vegetables, but no, I decided to surprise you!
Today's recipes is a dessert, a vegan "cheesecake" couscous, pratical, fast and with few ingredients!

This cake is particularly suitable for those who want to impress someone, try something new, for those who don't have enough time but want something sweet to eat and for those who desire a fresh and cheap dessert!

Ingredients for the base:
200 gr whole wheat couscous
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tablespoons whole cane sugar
water or vegetable milk

Ingredients for the cream:

1 cup of yogurt with cherries
4-5 tablespoons of berries and raspberries jam
2 teaspoons of agar agar powder
50ml of water or vegetable milk

coconut for garnish

The process is simple, for the base I prepared the couscous as I normally do, I put it in a saucepan with sugar and cocoa, I added a glass of water (I hadn't the vegetable milk) and I put it on the stove over low heat for 5 minutes.
I transferred the couscous on a baking sheet lined with parchement paper and I cooked in the oven for 10 minutes at 150°.

Meanwhile I prepared the cream, I put 2 teaspoons of agar agar in a pot, and I added 50ml of water, I have brought to a boil and after one minute I put out the fire, I have poured over it the yogurt and jam, the latter must be cold, finally I mixed the cream.

I pulled out the couscous base from the oven, I covered it with the cream and I garnished with coconut flour, I waited for it to cool and I put it in the fridge for 3 hours.

Our vegan couscous "cheesecake" is ready to be served!

I don't like high cheesecake that is why mine is low, but if you like it higher you can increase the doses!

Good dessert to all!

COUSCOUS & FRIENDS

Per prima cosa sono stata piacevolmente sorpresa di scoprire che la mia provincia è uno dei maggiori produttori ed esportatori di couscous in Italia;

Purtroppo i piatti presenti nella competition non erano vegan, questo è l'unico punto a sfavore dell'evento;

From june 28 to 30 was held in Ferrara the first edition of COUSCOUS & FRIENDS, a culinary competition where the protagonist of it was, of course the couscous produced right in the territory of Ferrara (Argenta), special guests of the event were Andy Luotto, Edoardo Raspelli and Filippo La Mantia.
First I was pleasantly surprised to discover that my province is one of the largest producers and exporters of cous cous in Italy.

Unfortunately the dishes in the competition weren't vegan, this is the only downside of the event.

As a couscous lover I found that events like this are beneficial both to the country that its community, many people didn't know this wonderful food, fortunetely they had the opportunity to discover and appreciate it, thing that vegan people already did from a very long time!

I left the event with so many ideas in my head and of course I couldn't resist and I bought the star of the day!

I have in mind so many recipes to try and sharing of course!
