COUSCOUS & FRIENDS
Dal 28 al 30 giugno si è tenuta a Ferrara la prima edizione del COUSCOUS & FRIENDS, una competizione culinaria con protagonista assoluto il cous cous prodotto proprio nel territorio ferrarese (Argenta), sono intervenuti come ospiti di eccezione Andy Luotto, Edoardo Raspelli e Filippo La Mantia.
Per prima cosa sono stata piacevolmente sorpresa di scoprire che la mia provincia è uno dei maggiori produttori ed esportatori di couscous in Italia;
Purtroppo i piatti presenti nella competition non erano vegan, questo è l'unico punto a sfavore dell'evento;
Da amante del couscous ho trovato che manifestazioni di questo genere facciano bene sia al paese che alla collettività, molte persone non conoscevano questo meraviglioso alimento, per fortuna hanno avuto l'occasione di scoprirlo ed apprezzarlo, cosa che i vegani hanno già fatto da molto tempo!
Ho lasciato l'evento con tante idee in testa e naturalmente non ho potuto resistere ed ho acquistato la star della giornata!
Ho in mente tante ricette da provare e da condividere naturalmente!!
From june 28 to 30 was held in Ferrara the first edition of COUSCOUS & FRIENDS, a culinary competition where the protagonist of it was, of course the couscous produced right in the territory of Ferrara (Argenta), special guests of the event were Andy Luotto, Edoardo Raspelli and Filippo La Mantia.
First I was pleasantly surprised to discover that my province is one of the largest producers and exporters of cous cous in Italy.
Unfortunately the dishes in the competition weren't vegan, this is the only downside of the event.
As a couscous lover I found that events like this are beneficial both to the country that its community, many people didn't know this wonderful food, fortunetely they had the opportunity to discover and appreciate it, thing that vegan people already did from a very long time!
I left the event with so many ideas in my head and of course I couldn't resist and I bought the star of the day!
I have in mind so many recipes to try and sharing of course!
